When I think about some of my favorite movies of the fifties I can't help but think about Robot flicks like the ones shown in the images above. I love old 50's robots, period!
Btw, I got some of these great pics from an ultra cool Robot Blog , Chuckmans Robots, which, if you dig robots, you should hang out for a while.
I can't get enough robots!! I live in a house full of them and my hubby and I even have matching robot tattoos :) Our local museum recently had a robot exhibit with tons of old ones and artwork- i was in heaven.
ReplyDeletematching robot tattoos? SO cool! You really DO love robots! I'm sure you've been here then:

I remember seeing a black and white movie in the late 50s where robots were taking over the world. I don't remember much, but scientists discovered that a pitch would kill them. I was pretty scared during the movie. But I was probably only around 10. Anybody know what the movie was?
ReplyDeleteI am trying to find an old black and white film, they depicted a robot that was so tall and huge, he was walking along a street, and destroying tall electric poles.
ReplyDeleteWould anyone have any idea, what movie this robot was in?
What about "Kronos?"
